We stopped for a meal around 2pm, and it wasn’t crowded. Our food arrived within 15 minutes, and the waitress was lovely and friendly. They close at 3pm, so we couldn’t order dessert, though we could still get coffee. The restaurant has a peaceful feel and lovely views over the lake. Really recommend it!

The food was good, but the service didn’t match what this place deserves. We waited at least five minutes for someone to seat us while two waiters chatted and another was smoking. We’d only visited the restaurant.

Our grill plate was delicious and came out quickly. The restaurant is lovely and romantic, with a view and big trees, and there’s an English menu with nice, English-speaking waiters. A sudden big storm came through during dinner, but the management and staff handled it like pros and got everyone inside in time.

The prices are high, but we’d happily recommend this place, just keep the short opening hours in mind. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation in the shady garden. The service was really friendly, and our delicious dishes arrived quickly. The lake was only a few meters away, and the trees gave us cool natural shade. After a lovely fish dinner, the date cake (Dattelkuchen) was the highlight.

The owners and team were extremely efficient and polite, and made us feel welcome and at ease. The rooms, food, service, and atmosphere all made for a great-value stay. The surroundings are beautiful and meticulously cared for, and the food is top quality. Top staff, and excellent in every aspect. I can only highly recommend coming here and enjoying it to the fullest. Simply top!
