The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and I can't wait to visit again. Everyone on staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the 25-metre pool, both for swimming and relaxing while looking out over the garden. I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We were nine family members, six adults and three children aged 10 months to 4 years, and had a wonderful week in September. This is a great hotel for active families. The staff and owners clearly take a lot of care of the hotel and gardens, and everyone was welcoming and attentive. We had three adjacent rooms with a shared balcony, which worked perfectly for us. The rooms were thoughtfully arranged, and the food had excellent choice and quality. We all loved the pool, and the basement play area was a real bonus for the children. The hotel is very close to the Karwendel lift, which takes you up the mountains. You can get Achensee Erlebnis Cards at reception, and they were well worth buying. They also offer picnic lunches to take out for 7.50 euros. You choose your own sandwich fillings from the breakfast buffet. That's great value for a group with children, especially since mountain restaurant meals can be pricey.

We loved our week at Hotel der Wiesenhof and would return without hesitation. The location is stunning, the food is delicious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The swimming pool and spa centre are especially beautiful. One of the loveliest hotels we've stayed at.

We had a great stay this summer at this fantastic family-run hotel in the heart of the Tirol. The service and facilities are amazing, and it was hard to find fault with anything. The spa and pool are fully equipped and clean, while the rooms and bathrooms were immaculate. There are plenty of extras, including golf cart and e-bike hire, packed lunches you can make yourself for excursions, and room service. The staff provided some of the best service I've had in a European hotel. 5⭐
