Haus Tannegg

We were four people traveling on two motorcycles and stayed with the Zangerle family in August. The welcome was warm, the room was clean and a good size, and breakfast was delicious with everything we could want. They were happy to handle special requests, and there was always a little afternoon treat, like cake or fruit. We can wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse.

We return to Haus Tannegg every year for a few days. It's fabulous, friendly, and especially clean. We highly recommend it and are already looking forward to coming back for years to come.

The house is a little dated and could use some renovation. The kind old man was very friendly, though. The downstairs shower could use more water! :D I did feel a bit as if the man was watching me.

The blinds broke while I was there, and fixing them took two days. The room got no sunlight during that time, and the landlady wanted to charge me for the repair. When we discussed it, she said things like, “You don't need to lecture me, you student.” The mattresses were worn, the furnishings sparse, and there was no soap in the bathroom. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. You can sleep there, but that's about all. I won't stay at Haus Tannegg again if I can help it.
