Das Eulersberg Apartments & Chalets

The little downsides didn’t take away a star for us. This was our first trip to Austria, and it left such a lasting impression that we’re sure to return. The country and the setting are beautiful, and it was well worth the trip. We stayed ten nights at Das Eulersberg in apartment 10, overlooking Grossglockner. The front balcony view was hard to beat, and relaxing there with a book and the mountains was just what we needed. Everything was clean, tidy, and spacious. The alpine road up is worth bearing in mind, though there’s a nearby town where you can stock up between the food services offered here. We loved the breakfast basket delivered each morning, although it seemed a little odd to pay extra for bread when the other items were included in the apartment price. The self-service pizza oven and customer fridge were convenient and easy to use, especially when we arrived late and hungry from travelling. It was a relief to find our name and room key at reception. The whole arrival process was seamless. Our apartment backed onto a children's play area, so sitting outside wasn’t peaceful on some days. There also seemed to be staff living quarters above us. One evening the TV was very loud, and on some mornings we woke early to movement and showers. We’ve been to Das Eulersberg twice now and had a wonderful, relaxing holiday both times. There’s plenty to see and do nearby, with attractions and hikes only a short distance away. The chalets are gorgeous, with great views, and they’re clean, modern, and comfortable. The place is family friendly, and my kids loved the playgrounds and animals on the property. Everyone on staff was kind and helpful. We’ll absolutely be back soon!

We had a delightful two-day stay at Das Eulersberg with my partner and our dogs. From the start, the staff answered our questions remarkably quickly and made everything easy throughout the visit. The premium suite had breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, a lovely thing to wake up to. And the furry receptionist who greeted us, a cat, gave the reception area an unexpected bit of warmth and made check-in memorable. Our stay exceeded all expectations, with impeccable service, stunning views, and that charming feline.
