The rooms are lovely, and the staff were friendly, so I have no complaints about either. My only disappointment was the food. It tasted good, but to me it felt closer to a 3-star hotel, especially because the options were limited. Breakfast had no salads, and at dinner there was no water or mineral water, just a drinks menu with paid options. We visited Vaya Fieberbrunn last year, and both the food quality and choice were better there. That comparison raised my expectations for this hotel.

After a day skiing, there's plenty of room for your skis and boots, and you can unwind in the enormous pool and excellent saunas. The hotel is conveniently placed for Serfaus - Fiss - Ladis and Samnaum - Ischgl, with clean, modern, well-kept rooms and helpful, friendly service. Breakfast was excellent and refined, and dinner was delicious. You can park in the garage or across from the hotel. I'm planning to return next year and highly recommend it!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Vaya Pfunds. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home, and dinners were a highlight, especially the lovely presentation of the main courses and desserts. The recently renovated hotel has beautiful interiors with lots of attention to detail. Our room felt cozy and restful, and the bed was just right for a 4 star hotel, tall and comfortable, with a nice balance of firmness and softness. We were also glad to find a Nespresso machine and a range of coffee pods instead of instant packets. The spa has a spacious pool and a separate sauna lounge. The sauna rooms themselves were at a good temperature, though the room and sauna lounge felt too warm. I'd suggest checking the heating.

The people were kind and helpful throughout, and the staff spoke English. We spent 7 days at hotel Tyrol so we could try the nearby ski areas, Nouders, Samnaun, and Izhl. Each was about a 20-minute drive away, and the free ski bus ran frequently from the hotel. Dinner was like a 4* restaurant, while breakfast was a buffet with limited choices and no sweets or cakes. Parking includes around 6 spots in front, another 6-8 behind, and a garage for about 10 cars with elevator access and ski storage. The garage needs to be booked, and it's advisable to do so. Internet was good at 20/20 mb/s. Downsides were the tiny room, limited breakfast selection, combined shampoo and body gel, and no extras like ear sticks.

We've taken ski holidays here for the last 7 years. The rooms are nice, though not luxurious, and the cleaning is perfect. The wellness area is really, really nice too.
