The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the view was beautiful. The buffet food was really good, with plenty to choose from at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The friendly staff were another plus. My one gripe was the bedding: the pillow and blanket covers had no buttons or zippers, so the blankets kept slipping out of place. I took the sheets off on my first night.

This is a great base for an authentic Austrian trip. Zell am See is well connected for the lake, and there are endless hiking trails nearby. The building is spotless, with comfortable rooms and amazing views. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and especially accommodating when someone had a need.

Wolfram is a pleasure to chat with, and the owner is friendly. The sauna is five-star, with Finnish and steam rooms, plus a relaxing candlelit area with lovely decorations. The views are great, the WiFi works well, and the food is delicious. It’s perfectly placed for hiking and cycling. Don’t hesitate, book a room :)
