Up the mountain in the middle of the forest, this is a great spot for a holiday, with lots of good hiking nearby.

We’ve stayed at the cabin in the woods three times now and have already booked our fourth visit. Summer or winter, as a couple or with family, it’s always a winner. This time we finally got to try the outdoor shower. The place feels like home as soon as you arrive, while still giving you a real chance to get away from everything. The amenities are a highlight, and it’s so comfortable in the garden among the trees or by the fireplace in the evening. The personal, friendly service on site adds to the experience. We’d happily keep coming back and recommend it, especially if you want quiet and love nature.

After a hike on the many nearby peaks, you can stretch out in a hammock in the woods. The cabin also has an infrared chair, an outdoor shower, and a barrel-shaped wooden bathtub. Our week there felt far too short. For a city dweller looking to unwind, it has hiking, games, fun, relaxation, and above all, peace and quiet. The hosts are friendly and clearly connected to nature. The value for money is excellent, and I highly recommend the forest cabin.

There was nothing but nature and quiet during our wonderfully relaxing week in Monika and Hanspeter’s forest cabin. We’ve already told others about it and will definitely be back. We wholeheartedly recommend it.
