The salads were tasty, and I’d definitely recommend them. I wasn’t keen on the carp, though, and the restaurant is a little pricey.

The breakfast at Hotel Pannonia was great, but our room at Gästehaus Florian was a disaster. The furniture was ancient, the bathroom was disgusting, and the toilet smelled like one at a train station. It was extremely hot in the room, the refrigerator was very loud, and I got splinters from the terrace twice. Never again.

We went to Restaurant Pannonia as a group of four today and can’t recommend it. We waited an hour and a half for our food, and when the waitress gave us a curt “it’ll come,” the restaurant wasn’t even full. Nobody apologized. We’ve never experienced such unfriendly service. The food was okay, but the prices were far too high for what you get. We won’t be back.

The breakfast, staff, and everything else were really nice. It’s just a shame the hotel badly needs renovation, since many areas look scratched and dated.
