It's a quiet, lovely place. I like it.

We booked a week at Poysdofer Hof – Brunngasse, Poysdorf, from July 12th to 18th, 2015, and had to call ahead just to check in. The room was filthy, with months' worth of dust, and the bathroom was old, rusty, covered in limescale, and clearly hadn't been cleaned. We asked to move rooms, but the second bathroom still had pubic hair and fecal residue from the previous guests. The smell was awful. Since it was already late, we had to stay the night. Our room had a double bed and an extra bed, even though we'd booked a double bed. Breakfast was just as bad. The buffet setup was chaotic, with chairs and tables scattered around, and cigarette smoke hanging in the air. Hygiene was a concern throughout. Sausage and cheese, likely from a discount store, had been put straight onto plates from their packaging; there were also some vegetables and discount-store pastries. The coffee machine was so filthy that we couldn't bring ourselves to use it. We left the hotel after that. When we asked locals how a place like this could have three stars and charge us like that, they said the hotel could award itself stars and that they had no authority over it. If you've lost your glasses because you can't see well up close, and you've also lost your sense of smell and taste, maybe you could stay here. Otherwise, stay away.
It's great. They were the best at helping with emergencies.
