Pension - Schöne Welt

Peaceful surroundings and wonderful scenery make this a lovely guesthouse. It's very clean, tidy and well cared for, with wonderful food. I felt in good hands here, and would happily give the place at least one more star. Come see for yourself.

The rooms are on the small side, but clean and comfortable. It's a lovely family-run guesthouse, with delicious homemade food in a home-style way. Each evening you can pick between two three-course meals. The prices are fair for what's included, so it gets five stars from me.

You feel right at home at Schönes Welt. Thanks to the owner, who's friendly, attentive and always around for questions, with lots of local information. I felt very comfortable here. The room was lovely, new and spotless, with a bathroom and shower, and the beds were very comfortable. It's peaceful but close to the valley road, with free guest parking on the property. The spot is great for hiking and mountain biking. Breakfast is a delicious, very complete buffet, and plastic-free. I'd also recommend dinner: for 11 euros, you get a salad buffet, soup, a choice of two main courses including a vegetarian one, and dessert. Drinks cost extra. It's all tasty, homemade and varied. Both the stay and dinner are excellent value. If you visit the Virgen Valley, I highly recommend staying here.

We felt at home at "Schöne Welt" during our ski holiday. The atmosphere was so friendly, the service super friendly too, and the food was excellent.
