Hotel Post

The heated outdoor pool was a treat in winter, with the water at 29°C, and it’s about a 15-20 minute drive to the Fiss-Ladis ski resort. The hotel has its own convenient parking and ski storage. We also appreciated the meal choices for children, including how accommodating they were with picky eaters. The food was excellent, and the staff were attentive. The hotel was very clean too. We had a wonderful holiday and I highly recommend it.

All four of us, me, my husband, our 4-year-old daughter, and our 1-year-old baby, became ill with food poisoning during our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, but we only ate there, and the food didn't seem fresh. We suspect the breakfast eggs were the cause, since symptoms began shortly after we ate them. We had to cut our vacation short. What should have been a relaxing break became a nightmare and a serious health risk for our young children. For a 4-star hotel, this food quality is unacceptable. I'm seriously considering filing a formal complaint. Anyone staying here should be cautious about eating at the hotel. It was a horrible experience.

I’ve never had worse service in Austria. The people showed no empathy or humanity when I had an accident and became temporarily disabled. I couldn't travel, but the owners showed no understanding and offered no way to rebook or reschedule. I'm a very frequent traveller, and this has been by far my worst experience with a family-owned hotel. Think carefully before reserving a room here. How would you feel receiving the hotel’s reply, which was attached?

The meals were a highlight: a creative, delicious five-course dinner and a very good breakfast, all at a great quality for the price. We booked a week package at hotel Post with a room, half board, and a six-day skipass. The caring staff, magnificent rooms, daily cleaning, wellness area with a nice ruhe raum, and 30°C pool were all wonderful, especially when it was freezing outside. Skibuses make it easy to reach the different ski resorts in the valleys. The room was too warm, though, and there didn't seem to be a way to adjust it. The pillows were much too soft. Staff tried to find a compromise, but offering one soft and one firmer pillow would be appreciated. Still, I highly recommend the place for a cozy week.
