The setting is peaceful, with a dreamlike mountain view, and trails start just behind and above the house. It’s handy for Schneeberg hikes, getaways, and family outings: the Sesselbahn, Schneebergbahn, and Puchberg museums all offer discounts. Tourist information is available too. There’s a restaurant a two-minute walk away and a supermarket ten minutes away by car. The apartments are simple but well equipped, attractive, and dog friendly. The house and garden are tidy, very clean, cosy, and welcoming. The hosts clearly put their hearts into making both two and four legged guests comfortable. Great value for the price, highly recommended.

We booked three apartments for our family in summer, and each was clean with rooms in good condition. The kitchens had what we needed for typical trip meals, like spaghetti bolognese. The accommodation is ideally placed for hiking, with the ski lift a 20 minute walk away, and there’s a lovely view of Schneeberg.
