Unter einem Dach

After six hours outside, the wood stove in my cozy room was already burning and kept me warm all evening. The hosts' care made the welcome just as warm. I could get or make drinks at the bar that evening and felt completely at home. I arrived at the end of four days and 80 km on the Kuenringer long-distance trail, and it was such a lovely place to finish. The house is artistic and beautiful, furnished with real care and an eye for how old and new fit together. Breakfast is lovingly made and delicious, especially the heavenly homemade bread and plum jam. Marion's Shiatsu treatment was a perfect end to my hike. I absolutely recommend a visit and will be back for a longer stay.

The hosts were very kind and helpful. The house sits in a peaceful spot on the edge of Raabs, with tastefully furnished rooms and a lovely garden. Breakfast was creative and made with high-quality local products.

We really enjoyed staying with Lukas and Gerold, and we're already looking forward to coming back. The surrounding area is right there for outdoor fun, whether it's a great bike ride, a refreshing swim in the Thaya River, or a canoe trip. The large garden is a real highlight, lovely for relaxing, eating breakfast, or having coffee. Downstairs there's a bar where you can put together your own breakfast. "Unter einem Dach" is a charming B&B, and its friendly, accommodating hosts and lovingly furnished house make you feel welcome right away. The rooms are stylish too.

Gerold and Lukas are super-friendly hosts, and they have great suggestions for exploring nearby. I keep coming back to this wonderful place to work creatively, develop projects, or simply relax. With all its little retreats, the house is good for working as well as unwinding. It's a dream of a home, pleasing to the eye, simply furnished, and full of thoughtful details.
