There was no front desk, and we didn't meet anyone in person during our stay. You can call the staff, though. The apartment was clean, safe, comfortable, well located, and good value. A few things to mention: there was a faint cigarette smell, which I noticed. I can't say whether it came from an inconsiderate guest, so I'm not blaming the owners, but it was there. The city tax had to be paid in cash and left in the room, which meant having exact change, or exact change plus a tip. That was an unnecessary hassle. There was no shampoo in the bathroom.

The owners are friendly, the apartment is clean and well equipped, and we could bring our dog. It was also very good value and in a great location. There's an excellent hiking trail right next to it. We climbed 900 m and the view was beautiful. I can only recommend it.

We had a great stay at Chalet Zauberflote. The owners were so kind and helpful, let us use their laundry machine, and even allowed a late checkout on our last ski day. The apartment was spacious and spotless, with a picturesque view from the window and balcony. It was also convenient for getting to obertauren for great ski days and to the center of Randstad. We'll definitely return to this hidden gem in Randstad.

The road ends here, so there isn't through traffic, and the upper apartments have a great view across the valley. From the ground floor, though, a modern house blocks most of the panorama. If there's a lot of fresh snow or ice, you may need snow chains to get up the road. We had a nice stay in a very clean 70sqm apartment. It has the basic kitchenware needed to cook, a storage room, and enough space for 4-6 adults and 2 children. We were provided with two baby beds, one wooden and one travel bed. One of the houses also has a ski equipment room with a boot heater rack.
