We had the whole floor to ourselves, two couples and one child, and were given better conditions than we had booked for the same price. The apartments were clean and cosy, with comfortable rooms and all the household equipment we needed. The hosts were pleasant and friendly, and the location made it easy to reach different ski areas. Thanks to the Habersatter family for a wonderful week of winter vacation. We look forward to visiting again.
Top.
We stayed at the Habersatter guesthouse during the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve, and left after the week feeling unwelcome. The owners weren't friendly in our interactions, and we won't be returning. As soon as we arrived, they went through the house rules with us (see photo) and explained how to sort organic waste, paper, glass, general rubbish and the yellow bin. That's a lot to deal with in vacation mode. We also got the impression that our 3-year-old daughter had to watch every step and not make noise. Our expectations weren't met. Hospitality felt like a foreign word here. There are plenty of other holiday homes in Austria where you feel truly welcome as a guest.
The place is spacious and cosy, but it gets almost pitch black at night. The pool is always covered, and either there’s no Wi-Fi or they don’t give you the password. There was hardly any toilet paper, more so than anywhere else. It’s a shame about those details.
The apartment has everything we needed, and the hosts were very friendly. It’s centrally located in the valley, with supermarkets just around the corner.
