Beate was kind and quick to respond from my first email right through to the tasty breakfast before we left. The pension sits at nearly 1,200 m, with splendid nature all around. It made a lovely overnight stop on our trip to Croatia. Many thanks to Beate.

We had a few beautiful days here in summer 2020. The location and breathtaking views were wonderful, and the host was very nice and communicative. Breakfast and dinner were perfect, and dogs are welcome. We'll definitely come back someday.

Breakfast comes with the room, and you can also order dinner for an extra fee. The place feels warm and cosy, and the host is one of the kindest people you'll meet. There are a few little quirks, but that's to be expected at a small, homely inn rather than a big fancy hotel. Our room didn't have a view, though just a few steps down from the front door, we found one.

The night sky was breathtaking, and the owners were lovely and happy to help. The rooms in the three-storey house were comfortable, clean, and tidy. It's about an hour from both Hallstatt and Salzburg, reached by a short drive up a mountain. That road might feel a bit scary at night if you're not used to it.

We enjoyed the kind hosts and delicious breakfast so much that we stayed again for a night on our way home. Our first night was last week, while travelling to Spa-Francorschamps for F1 weekend. Danke frau Beate.
