Forsterhof

We’d love to come back. The views from apartment 2 were lovely, with fields where horses or sheep graze, a beautiful church, and the mountains, including part of Dachstein. We had two balconies, one facing east and one south, and enjoyed watching the sunrise over breakfast in the kitchen. It’s a beautiful place in Ramsau, with clean, modern rooms and friendly owners. The beds were comfortable, the rooms stayed warm on cold autumn days, and the bathroom floor was heated. Fast Wi-Fi, which is unusual, and fresh bread service were nice extras. It’s especially good for kids. There’s an indoor playroom for bad weather, plus lots to do around the farm: cats, chickens, rabbits, cows, horses, and sheep, as well as a trampoline, toys, table tennis, cars, and scooters. Highly recommended 👌

Everything was perfectly clean, and the view was breathtaking. The hosts are wonderful, incredibly kind and helpful people. Amazing stay, highly recommended for families visiting for hiking or winter sports.

The kids loved the modern farmhouse feel and all the animals. It’s a lovely place with wonderful hosts, and the rooms are spacious and have everything you need, plus a little extra. For a family with children, it’s hard to find a better place.

We stayed in apartment No.4, a lovely, fully equipped place with an amazing mountain view. Forsterhof is close to Ramsau am Dachstein but also peaceful, right next to the wood. The Family Simonlehner were friendly, pleasant, and helpful hosts. Our children had a great time with the little goats, sheep, and other farm animals. We also enjoyed being able to order fresh bakery products and eggs from their happy chickens every day. It’s a great place for a family holiday. We hope to return soon. Thank you!
