The food was fantastic, and this is such a relaxing spot, with a quiet setting and views of the Dachstein. Half board is well worth booking. It’s a great place to come with children, and the friendly hosts shared lots of ideas for hikes and outings. We enjoyed the conversations, too, and are already looking forward to coming back.

For our first visit to Austria, we couldn’t have hoped for a better stay. The farm sits right by the forest, so it’s wonderfully quiet, with a fantastic view of the Dachstein. The hosts are friendly, answer questions gladly, and have useful suggestions for hikes and excursions. We booked half board: breakfast had everything we wanted, and the hostess cooked a three-course dinner herself each evening, which was excellent. The rooms and shared spaces were spotlessly clean and thoughtfully furnished. We’ll be back!

We’ve visited Austria several times, but only just stayed at the Greimelbacherhof for the first time. We were delighted and already can’t wait to return. Our room was great, with a large bathroom and a balcony looking out over the Dachstein. There was also a refrigerator on the floor, and the host family were very friendly. We had everything we could have wished for.

We’re still here at this lovely guesthouse, and everything has been just right for us: room, food, and service. The kitchen is excellent, with everything freshly cooked. Honestly, if you skip half board, you’ll miss a first-class meal. Thanks in advance for such a wonderful holiday. We’ll definitely return. Best wishes, the Gayer family.
