The housekeeper was lovely and kind, and I liked the stay a lot. The accommodation was pleasant, and I loved the view. The beds were too soft for us, though, and the door between the hall and living room squeaked. Whenever someone got up to use the bathroom at night, it woke everybody.

The cottage was cosy and pleasantly cool, with two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, and dining area. It also had a dishwasher, fridge, kettle, and Nespresso machine, and there was a terrace where you could sit outside. We were warmly welcomed and given a summer card for discounts at various places. It’s in a quiet part of Ramsau with stunning views, a few minutes’ drive from various restaurants, and there are nice walks around the cottage. The rooms were well maintained, but I slept poorly because the pillows were so soft I sank right through them, which was uncomfortable. The towels were a bit rough, too. It’s still a very cosy cottage in a beautiful spot. The owner also has a sweet cat who sometimes comes over to say hello.

We stayed for five days and didn’t lack a thing. The host was very friendly, and the modern, bright apartment was comfortably furnished. Ramsau is a good base for lots of activities in the surrounding area.

A beautiful place to stay, especially for children, with a nearby paddock where there’s a horse, donkey, and cows. The owner is pleasant and happy to suggest places to visit.
