It is pricey, but you do get something for the money. The food was great, with an eclectic breakfast buffet and high quality, appealing and tasty dinners. We came as a sports group and were treated as nicely as possible. There's real peace and quiet, plus a great sauna area with infrared, steam, moderate, and Finnish saunas. A swim in the cold pond is there to strengthen your immune system and reset your stress levels. It has Austrian country charm, not far from the "The Sound of Music" cliché. 😅

I stayed here about three years ago, in 2020, for a ski holiday. The beds and pools were really comfortable and good, and the food was great. I didn't take pictures because I hadn't thought I'd write a review. It's a very good hotel, and I'll definitely return in a few years. 💚

The staff made us feel welcome, with a kind word for us every day, and we really enjoyed the beautiful mountain setting. There’s a big parking area and free sledges to borrow. The kids’ playroom could use some improvement.

A tidy, comfortable base near Schladming. It’s a little way from the main ski areas, but still close enough to all of them for a great skiing holiday.
