Stefan and Marija were wonderful hosts, and staying with them was a joy. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are amazing, and the service was great. By far my favourite place to stay in Austria.

The meals were a real highlight, and Maria and her team took such care with every plate. When anyone in our group of 20 had dietary restrictions, they thoughtfully made sure there was a great alternative. Their hospitality made a big difference. Canada Ski Cross Team stayed at Hotel Residence for two weeks, and it felt like home in Ramsau. The rooms were spotless and well cared for, the beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of shared spaces for different activities. Maria and Stefan have made the place warm and welcoming, and the staff handled our whole group with real professionalism and passion. We can’t thank you enough, Hotel Residence. We’ll be back every year! Love, Canada Ski Cross Team

There’s plenty to do nearby in winter, and I imagine the hiking must be beautiful in the quieter seasons. We had a wonderful stay, with Marija and Stefan looking after our large group so well. They were lovely, accommodating hosts, and both the food and beer were delicious. I’d happily recommend it.
