Our daughter spent three days at the Rittisberg ski area and loved it. It’s only a few hundred meters from Aparthotel Pfeffermühle, with a great ski school for kids. There’s also a bus nearby linking to other Ski Amadé areas. I didn’t try cross-country skiing myself, but there are fantastic trails all around, and it’s clearly a mecca for it. We stayed five wonderful nights as a family of three with our six-year-old. The personal connection to the region really sets this place apart. Fiona and Dani are locals with deep ties to the land and community, and that comes through in the genuine, welcoming atmosphere. We felt very welcome and would gladly return. Fiona was timely and informative from the start, making everything smooth and stress-free. She and Dani are fantastic hosts who complement each other so well. Breakfast was generous and thoughtfully prepared, including fresh egg dishes Dani cooked. Dinner was just as impressive, carefully made with high-quality ingredients and great value. I used the small but practical wellness area each evening, and our daughter loved the indoor pool, which we enjoyed together several times. Thanks to Dani for opening the pool early each morning so I could swim before breakfast. That was thoughtful and much appreciated. Highly recommended.

We spent a wonderful week here with a group of 12 for our summer holiday. There are several room options, some with kitchens, and even a whole apartment for families. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and I loved sitting on the sofa and looking out at the amazing mountains. The sauna and pool were a real plus, especially on a rainy afternoon. Fiona was incredibly helpful with anything we needed and gave us tips for outings and restaurants. Our hosts, Fiona and Daniel, were so friendly and helpful, and it was lovely to have dinner at the hotel. Daniel’s fresh cooking each night was delicious. Breakfast was wonderful too, with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh eggs, homemade jams and even blueberries Fiona picks in the nearby forest. It was an incredible stay, thank you so much!

Fiona and Daniel do everything they can to make your stay the best. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious. The setting in the Alps is beautiful, with an amazing view from the rooms and spa. Out of this world, and I’d recommend it for a holiday in any season or even outside the holiday season.

The food is perfect, so you don’t need to go looking for restaurants nearby. They meet even the smallest needs without overcharging. Other gasthof owners could take this place as an example.

We didn’t expect such a wonderful experience. It felt like home, and Fiona and Daniel looked after us in every situation. We’ll always be grateful for the best holiday we’ve ever had. The memories of being Fiona’s and Daniel’s guests still warm our hearts, and we’re sure we’ll return to Ramsau and stay at hotel Pfeffermühle. A million thanks!!!
