The owner got my booking for two rooms completely wrong. I needed them because my adult daughter was traveling with me, but the room we were given was so small that we felt it wasn't suitable and left. I asked for a refund by text and email at least four times. I only got a response after going to the tourist bureau, and it wasn't an apology or an offer to help. She asked how she could pay me without my bank details, even though she already had them. I found her unfriendly and impolite. Despite the booking mix-up being hers, I only got half of my original deposit back. Do not stay here. They only care about your money.

They even arranged breakfast early for us because our train was leaving in the morning. That kind of thoughtfulness made the stay especially nice. This is a family-run place, and the family is extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are stylish, the whole house is clean and well cared for, and breakfast is excellent. The view is breathtaking too. Thanks so much, we'd love to return.

The setting is beautiful and very peaceful, and the landlords are lovely. Breakfast was very good, though it would be nice to have a few vegan spreads. The rooms, bathrooms in particular, feel quite dated, so for us the overall price is too high.

We felt completely at home here and would happily return. The location is so quiet, and you can walk to the town center easily, past the former TV guesthouse Marthaler. Breakfast was delicious, and both hosts gave us really useful ideas for things to do. Wonderful, friendly people.

The tips from Familie Kohlbrat helped us discover Ramsau at its best, so we had a wonderful 12-day stay at the Sonnwendhof. The accommodation was clean and practically furnished, and breakfast was excellent and generous, with more than enough choice. We'll definitely come back 👍.
