Rösslhof

We’ve stayed at plenty of hotels in Ramsau, and this one worked best for our family with small children. The half board was great, and the playroom and friendly staff made for a lovely holiday with the little ones. It also has a cosy, smaller family-hotel feel, and the food portions were just right without unnecessary waste. We’ll definitely be back.

We were two adults travelling with a baby and a dog. Our room was spacious, with a bathroom, hairdryer, TV, minibar and plenty of storage. The booking site had said a baby cot wouldn’t fit, but when we asked at arrival, the staff were happy to provide one. The restaurant was excellent. Dinner was 12 euros per person for four courses: starter, soup, main and dessert. There was also a salad bar and cheese buffet. Breakfast was included, with cereals and muesli, eggs, cheese, ham and local butter. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One man who seemed to be the manager or owner chatted with guests at mealtimes and even helped clear plates. My one drawback was that dogs aren’t allowed in the restaurant.

Thomas, keep up the good work! This was the best choice: a wonderful hotel in a beautiful place, with lovely people and food.

After full days of hiking, relaxing in the swimming pool was just what we needed. The welcome was perfect, the people kind, the rooms comfortable, and the nature breathtaking. The meals were delicious, and the place had a peaceful, family-like feel. I was so sorry to leave and get back to real life. We’ll return.
