The owners were very friendly, and the place was comfortable in a basic way at a reasonable price. It sits 100 meters from the main road, yet nights were very quiet. If you're after luxury, this probably isn't for you. There's a good bakery nearby for breakfast bread and sweets, and you can get coffee there too.
The house looked amazing inside and out, and my family and friends all loved it. The view was lovely too, and we could enjoy it instead of staring at our phones since the Wi-Fi was really, really slow. You'll need to bring most of your own essentials, including kitchen and toiletries items.
The whole house was warm and clean, and the owners were lovely and helpful. The only drawbacks were that the water took a long time to heat up and the internet was even slower, around 1 Mb/s.
A really good base for a ski trip.
Hintertux's best spot for eating out!
