When I had to go into hospital before my holiday was over, the hotel really helped us out. They looked after my husband, booked taxis, and interpreted for us. I was also touched by the lovely roses on my last night. It’s a lovely family hotel in a beautiful location with stunning views. The bedrooms felt a little tired and didn’t have tea-making facilities. Since we were with a coach company, dinner was set, but it was well cooked. Breakfast was lovely.

We had a lovely stay, with very polite and friendly staff. The whole place was exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable, and the food was very good for someone like me who likes things basic. I’d definitely stay again.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The food was bland, very basic, and came in small portions with no choice. Our waitress was unfriendly, and we had to make our own beds. When we asked about an English-language TV channel, we were told there wasn’t one.

I was really disappointed by the room. It felt like stepping back 50 years: the shower was old and tiny, and I kept bumping into things. The tap water looked as though it hadn’t been used in ages, so I didn’t trust it. The mattress was good, but the linen wasn’t. Beer costs 5 euros.

It’s a clean, well-maintained place run by a very nice family. The drinks were fairly priced, and I had no complaints about the food, which was all very nice. I enjoyed my stay and met some lovely people.
