The balcony view over the hills and sheep is breathtaking. Sitting out there in the morning breeze feels like therapy, and the location works well for day trips, with plenty of parking. Staff were kind and helpful, and those who didn’t speak English still did their best. The on-site Italian restaurant has a wonderful terrace and decent food, especially for the low prices. The building and rooms aren’t new, but they’re well maintained and very clean. It’s simple accommodation, but a remarkable place to stay. I found the mattress fine, though my friend thought it was too soft, so that’s personal preference. Breakfast costs €12 and has lots of choices, but the quality is mediocre apart from the eggs, which they make to order and cook perfectly. There’s no fridge in the room, as the description says, so that wasn’t a surprise. The staff kindly kept my sandwiches in their fridge overnight, so I’m not complaining.

The room was tiny for four and so cold that we spent much of the time freezing. On the plus side, service was great, the staff were helpful, and it was good value. The pizza is a must-try, the little town is convenient for getting to ski resorts, and we loved the basement playroom and the mountain view. 😍

Quiet and peaceful, with excellent Italian food and breathtaking views. One of the most beautiful places I’ve visited. I highly recommend it, and would give it 10 stars if I could.

Great location and a very friendly host. The pizza was the best I’ve had in Austria, and the calzone was the best I’ve tried anywhere. Thanks for your service! I totally recommend the place and its pizzas. By the way, what was that amazing sauce served with the calzone?
