We loved our recent stay at this aparthotel in the Austrian Alps. The mountain views through the panoramic windows were breathtaking, and we could enjoy them as soon as we woke up. The big balcony was a perfect place to sit and take in the scenery. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged and comfortable. The underground parking was spacious, with plenty of room, and very convenient for travelling by car. The location is excellent too, with what you need nearby and easy access to ski areas and hiking trails. We’d happily return and definitely recommend it.

Be very careful with this company. We’re stuck in an endless nightmare trying to deal with them: no communication, no accountability and no transparency. They showed a complete lack of professionalism and integrity. Despite knowing about serious internal issues and even insolvency processes, they kept taking new bookings, including several reservations for our December 2025 wedding in Alpendorf. Then they suddenly changed management, erased all the earlier reservations and stopped replying to everyone. Many guests, including us, lost a significant amount of money. There’s been no official communication or effort to sort it out. This is completely unacceptable in hospitality. Avoid this place and any company connected to Golden Lodges! I also don’t trust the others connected with the hotel owners who hired them, as they did nothing to help: Alpen Travel / Majestic Alps / Alpen Parks. They’re all part of the same nightmare.

DON'T BOOK WITH GOLDEN LODGES! A couple of months ago, we booked a room at Golden Lodges Alpendorf with Marco van Andel. In July they emailed asking for prepayment, and we paid. We later found out Golden Lodges no longer operates the hotel and hadn’t transferred our reservation or money to the new owners, and they didn’t prove otherwise. We’re taking legal action to try to get our money back. The same could happen at Rauris anytime!

They take your money and then become impossible to reach. Emails get no reply, and the phone numbers listed on social media are fake. Since they accept only SEPA transfers and no card payments, getting your money back means filing a police report and a fraud complaint with your bank. This organization is a scam, so beware.

Our December 2025 stay at Golden Lodges Alpendorf was cancelled after the apartment owners removed Golden Lodges as operators, according to a third-party provider. We had to book again through the replacement provider and pay more. Golden Lodges has received my emails and social media messages asking for a refund of what we paid, but they refuse to respond. Avoid Golden Lodges Resorts (Golden Lodges Rauris) and its associated businesses.
