The owners were lovely, and the accommodation was beautiful. We had a fantastic stay, thank you.

A traditional place, warm and clean, with a good breakfast and nice people.

I found the group organization concerning. People shouldn’t be left behind or lose their way, especially beginners on slopes that aren’t suitable for them. Organizers are responsible for safety and helping people find their way, since it’s easy to get lost and end up alone. I also want to share how the group’s farewell felt to me. In Austria, at least shaking hands is considered good manners. I understand that a hug may be too much, that’s completely fine. But I was the only person who didn’t even get a handshake, while others received a very warm goodbye. I felt excluded, and it didn’t seem fair. This is about the group we were in, not the organizers. People have different experiences, habits and limitations. Nobody has to be equally sociable or get along with everyone, and that’s okay. Still, basic respectful interaction should be a given in a group. This is my honest feedback, and I didn’t want to leave it unsaid. It’s addressed to Hannah Helena of the comfort crew. We were able to truly relax at Haus Standlgut, and everything had been taken care of down to the details. The house is tastefully decorated, beautifully situated and fully equipped. Raoul and Suzanne made us feel welcome straight away. They’re hospitable and friendly, and do everything they can to make your stay pleasant. We’ll look back on our visit with a smile and definitely come back. Thanks for everything, Raoul and Suzanne, see you next time!
