We were satisfied overall, helped along by the wonderful weather and the fact that we mainly used the apartment for sleeping. Its location is quiet but central, about a 10-minute walk to Seefeld town center and four minutes to the nearest supermarket. The Rosshütte cable car is nearby, and the superb Reiterjochalm is easy to reach on foot or by bike, with lovely views and delicious food. Mr. Riedl was friendly and gave us useful tips for excursions. We rented the basement apartment for a week in summer. It was spacious, clean, and adequately furnished, with a large terrace and lawn. We didn’t use the lawn, perhaps we would have if it had been mowed. The furniture was a bit dated, and the apartment could use fresh paint and more tasteful decor.

I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. The location was the best part, since you can walk to the center of Seefeld. Inside, the furniture was worn and the place didn’t feel especially cozy. “Country house” gave me a different picture. It turned out to be in the middle of a housing development. If vacation cleaning and DIY projects sound like your thing, this could be the place for you. 👎👎👎
