Love the Alps Apartments

We found the self check-in easy, with an online door code. The LOU Chalet Studio Marie is a roomy ground-floor place with three rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Its modern furnishings are showing wear after a few years, and the grounds could use a full overhaul. The apartment was acceptably clean, though not spotless, and we didn’t find it as bad as some reviews suggest. The induction cooktop wasn’t working when we arrived, so we had to look up the instructions ourselves, under “Ikea BEJUBLAD Induction Hub 500.” The fuse is behind the wooden door to the left of the kitchen. Once we pulled it out and put it back, then followed the instructions, the cooktop worked.

The bathroom was in terrible shape: the sink was nearly unusable, there was no mirror, and the toilet had no seat. The kitchen was completely unequipped, and most of the furniture was ruined. The apartment was dirty and disgusting, and it clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages. I’ve never seen a vacation rental this bad. Anyone who can should seriously think about canceling. I strongly advise against booking it.

We left as quickly as we could. The owner wasn’t customer-oriented, didn’t answer the phone, and wanted to communicate only by text. The online photos don’t match the place, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The house looked neglected from outside, and the same impression continued indoors. Although it was supposedly cleaned, the apartment was very dirty: urine stains from previous guests on the toilet seat, broken furniture, a faulty refrigerator, exposed wires, dust under the bed, worn and stained chairs, and hair in the bed, presumably dog hair.

We stayed at the MAX apartments and were very happy with them. Clean, cozy, roomy, and supplied with everything we needed. Innsbruck is a 27-minute drive away.
