I have fond memories of sitting on the balcony, looking out at the Alps and eating delicious bread from the bakery next door. The rooms are comfortable and inexpensive, and the house has lovely wood-carved decor. It's a traditional guesthouse with so many nice, quintessentially Austrian touches and very warm Austrian hospitality.

We stayed in winter, two adults and one child, and were given a warm, cozy two-room apartment with a king-size bed and sofa bed. The small kitchen had the essentials, including a stove, oven, kettle and coffee machine, but no microwave. The bathroom was clean, bright and spacious, with no bathtub. You'll need to bring your own shower gel and shampoo, though we always do anyway. Reithersee is an easy walk away, with a small playground, and in summer you can swim in the lake. Frau Marion, the caretaker, was really warm and friendly, and speaks good English.

The ski area is only about 100m away, which was the best part for me. The bus stop is right outside too, and travel is free with the Seenland Card. Shops, a bakery, and a restaurant are all an easy walk from this cozy, well-equipped apartment in Reith i.A.

Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully laid out, and the place had a lovely fresh smell as soon as we came in. My father and I stopped at Haus Tramberger the day before yesterday while heading to Lake Garda, and choosing it was a great call. Even though we arrived late in the evening, we got such a warm welcome. Our room felt cozy and modern, with beautiful furnishings, and it would suit younger guests too. There was plenty for a longer stay, including a kitchen, plus a great mountain view from two balconies. We'd happily return. Highly recommended, a top-notch stay.
