Gasthof Jägerklause

The meals were tasty, and the portions were enormous. We even tried ordering smaller salads. It's an attractive old, home-style hotel with charming decor and very welcoming staff. Seeing so many killed animals made me feel somewhat sorry, though it was still interesting to look around. My rating is about the comfort I'd expect from any hotel, and there were several problems. The room was tiny, with only about 50 cm of space around the bed. The bed squeaked and needs fixing, and it had a separate mattress and blankets. The window handle was stuck, leaving it only partly open for ventilation. There's nowhere to store snowboards, only boots, so the boards had to stay in their bags in the car. The dinner drinks payment system was odd too: instead of adding them to one bill at checkout, they expected cash each evening because card payments were only allowed over 20 euros. We spent about 8 euros per dinner on average. The location was poor as well, about 1.5 via a narrow, winding road to a high point.
