Haus Christine

The hosts were caring, friendly, and did their best to make the stay pleasant. The apartment itself was comfortable, cozy, clean, and fully equipped, with a balcony overlooking the valley and a splendid view. Its location works well for hikers and bikers. My complaint is about the people across the street, who also run a guesthouse. Their hosts and guests, mostly German, were noisy and annoying, socializing outside in front of the house for hours. I definitely don't recommend that accommodation.

Getting to the nearby ski areas takes just a few minutes by car, and you can also take the ski bus. There's a ski room with boot heaters and free parking right in front of the house. After full days on the slopes, the sauna area was great for unwinding and recovering. Haus Christine was extremely clean and well maintained, and the hosts were kind and attentive. You can really feel that care at breakfast, which I'd absolutely recommend including. We had a very pleasant week of skiing and are grateful for the warm hospitality.

We felt like part of a big family at Haus Christine. After our day trips, we met other guests in the common room, had lovely conversations, and could always find someone for a board game. We were warmly welcomed on our first stay there, a long birthday weekend my wife and I had been given. The room was very clean, with a functional bathroom and a balcony with a beautiful view. We live here permanently, and they've hosted us for years. Everything's perfect, and in winter there's even a sauna. The price is right, and if you want a host-run guesthouse with lots of friendly guests, this is the place. We keep coming back. The one catch is you need to book quickly or you might miss out.
