Apartment Liendl

The best place anywhere. I loved it.

We came for somewhere calm and quiet, and the apartment was perfect for that. Mr. Liendl was kind and made sure everything was okay while giving us the space we wanted. The other two apartments happened to be empty, which made things even more peaceful. Such a romantic, restful stay. Thank you, we'd love to return!

We came back for another lovely weekend in July 2020, and the apartment still has all its charm. Already hoping to visit again! It feels like a place to switch off and dream. The little farmhouse is tucked away somewhere quiet, but the chocolate factory is only a ten-minute walk away, and Riegersburg Castle and other outings are easy to reach by car. There were four adults and three kids with us, ages 7, 5 and 5, and we had everything we needed. The apartments have a stylish old-farmhouse feel. Kitchen basics included pots, pans, spices, vinegar and oil; there were also towels, tea towels and even toothbrushes and shampoo for emergencies. The fridge was stocked with butter, eggs, jam, honey, milk, wine and water when we arrived. There's a coffee maker, toaster and kettle as well.

We enjoyed having a meal and a drink in the gazebo. The guesthouse itself is quaint and peaceful, with two apartments to choose from, and fresh pastries in the morning. There's a wildlife enclosure right beside it that's easy to watch, with a pair of old-fashioned binoculars available. Parking is in the driveway.
