We felt very comfortable here, and the landlady was always easy to reach and did her best to make sure we were happy. The apartment is beautiful and spacious, with lovely new furnishings everywhere except the kitchen. The courtyard is thoughtfully decorated, with several comfortable places to sit. The kitchen could use better equipment, since the dishes and cutlery don't match. The bakery closed the day after we arrived. That wasn't a problem Monday to Friday, when two other shops in town were open, but it was a letdown on Sunday when those shops were closed too. There was no oven for bread rolls. I suggested adding a toaster, and the landlady immediately agreed to provide one.

The apartments and the owner's son's winery are both easy to recommend. His organic wines are truly excellent. The stay itself went smoothly, and the atrium courtyard is a beautiful, private, quiet place to relax. Even when the weather is bad, you can sit outside under the partial cover. A grocery store, Adeg, is just a three-minute walk away. The area is easy to explore by bike or car, with places like Family Park, the opera in the quarry at St. Margarethen, Lake Neusiedl, and Mörbisch nearby.
