We were there on 12/28, between the holidays, and it was cold. The area was quiet and scenic, though most shops were shut. We found a nice café for breakfast. The hotel rooms had been updated and were comfortable, and my family slept well. There are hot water pots for cold nights, so I'd bring a selection of teas.

We stayed in winter, when it was super quiet. The location is great, by the lake and close to old Town Rust, and the family rooms were great.

6/10
The location by the lake is calm and laid-back, and the staff were helpful, which made up for some of it. Otherwise, it was pretty average. It's okay, but for that money I expected more, even though it's among the cheapest hotels in Rust.

I tried to book a room, but over three days they sent me three different offers, each with a higher price.

A lovely town with cared-for stork nests and some great wine spots. Well worth a weekend visit.
