Peter Hotel is simple and basic, just as it looks, and I had a pleasant seven-night stay. The rooms are old-fashioned and a bit dated, but clean and functional. The hotel itself is old, though it was kept clean throughout. Staff were kind and helpful. You can't beat the location: right by the Bernkogelbahn ski lift, about two minutes from Kohlmaisbahn, and within three minutes of Schattberg X-Press. Breakfast is quite basic, while dinner was pretty good. There's also free EV charging for guests, a great bonus. One thing to know if you're a light sleeper: the river on one side of the hotel can be loud. With the window closed, it was perfectly fine for me. The price-to-quality ratio felt fair, so I'd return and recommend it. I give it 5 stars because the services are fair for the price. P.S. Mr. Peter is very kind and has amazing energy, a true host!

For our last night in Saalbach, we had dinner at Hotel Peter Restaurant and caught the 9 PM magic show. The tricks were mind-blowing and made the evening especially memorable. Peter, the friendly, charismatic owner, cooked our steak sizzling on a hot stone himself. The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was great. Highly recommend it for dinner and the entertainment.

Hotel Peter is right in the center of saalbach, with good rooms, a nice breakfast, and a lovely sauna area. We stayed for two nights and the staff were fantastic. I'd highly recommend it.

The views were good, and the traditional rooms suited the place. We got half board for a good price and the location was good too. I asked for an extra pillow, but it never came. Service can be lacking, though they do try their best.

The location is a real plus, and the food at the restaurant was nice. Breakfast was good quality, though nothing special. The owners were really nice and tried to help with everything. They clearly thought about mountain bikers: there's a bike parking area right in front of the hotel, plus plenty of car spaces in the underground parking. The owner, I think, also put on a small magic show one night. It was really nice.
