From the windows and outdoor terraces, there’s a splendid panoramic view of the valley and the mountains beyond. Haus Bartolot is a quiet, cozy apartment building about 50 meters from the ski slope, so skiing in and out is easy. Our apartment was clean, the temperature stayed steadily at 19-20 degrees centigrade, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The free parking area can fit 6-7 cars. Our only minor issue was that there was no spare toilet paper, so we had to buy some ourselves. Thanks to Johanna and family Hochwimmer for a lovely holiday!

The kitchen was good for cooking, and it’s a great place to stay. Just be ready for farm smells, since it’s next to a dairy.

The view is fantastic, and the landlady was really friendly. The apartment was spotless and the bed was comfortable. It’s small and pleasant, though noise can be an issue: when the neighboring apartment is occupied, you can hear everything happening in its bathroom. We only had neighbors for two days that week, so we were lucky. The busy activity upstairs never came through at all.
