A really good place to stay in Saalbach, with plenty of parking and just five minutes from the lift station. It’s set up for self-catering and has good ski storage with boot warmers. There’s also a sunny balcony with a view of slope 2a in the afternoon, lovely if you enjoy winter sun. The only downside for us was the wifi in apartment 5. The signal was too weak, and it only worked by the apartment entrance door. Otherwise, a very good accommodation option.

The house sits a little away from the main road, so it was wonderfully quiet. We also really enjoyed the sauna. The apartments are clean, comfortable and well equipped, with everything we needed to unwind in this beautiful part of the Austrian Alps. Thanks to the hosts for being so welcoming.

Getting to the ski lift takes about five minutes on foot, and the family running the place were lovely. They even bring freshly baked rolls to your apartment in the morning if you use the bread service. Each apartment has a kitchen and a sitting area, with bedrooms sized nicely for the number of guests. The bathroom has a shower, and the toilet is separate. We had a great stay.

The rooms look straight out onto the mountains, and the apartments have everything needed for cooking. It was very clean, with useful ski facilities including a heated boot room, ski storage and a dryer. The owners were lovely and helpful, and you can order fresh bread too.
