We stayed at The Bear's Lair in January 2026 with our family, and the apartment was fantastic. It’s just a few minutes on foot from several ski lifts and is also in a great spot for après. The host’s website photos don’t really show how nice it is, the place is even better in person. I’d thoroughly recommend it to anyone after a top-class stay in Saalbach.

Right across the road from the ski area, so getting to the lifts is easy. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need: three bedrooms, one WC, two large bathrooms, a big 65-inch TV, and a well-equipped kitchen. Five-star experience.

It felt a bit dated, and wasn’t as new as described. The towel radiators didn’t work in any of the bathrooms, and the extractor fan above the stove was really greasy.
