Thurnerhof

Dinner was a highlight of our week, with a different surprise on the menu every day and plenty of variety. The service was impeccable too. I'd highly recommend the hotel and believe I'll come back.

The wellness area looks out over the ski resort, and the hotel makes getting to the Saalbach lifts easy with its special ski transport. We found the staff friendly, the food good, and the team attentive to guests' special needs.

The outdoor pool has a lovely view and enough room to swim, and the playground has plenty of toys. The indoor pool, though, is much too small for kids to play in when the weather is cold. Our family apartment had plenty of space for three or four, with a roomy kitchen and basic appliances that were handy with small children. The bathroom was well equipped but cramped for such a large apartment, and the sloped ceiling is easy to bump your head on if you're tall. There was also a place indoors to park bikes and charge their batteries. The views were nice, the food was good, and we had a pleasant stay. We'd be glad to come back.

Getting to the lifts was easy: the hotel drove us there each morning and picked us up in the evening. We also loved coming back to the outdoor pool after skiing. Our room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The facilities were great and the food delicious. We had a wonderful holiday at Hotel Thurnerhof and will definitely return. Thanks for looking after us so well, Julia and family.
