Hoferbichlgut

The farmyard fountain and the sight of the little chalet against those huge mountains will stay with us. Eva and Hans looked after their organic farm with so much love, and were always there when we had questions. They even arranged a lovely horse-drawn carriage ride on Lake Ritzensee. We’ll miss it all, and hope to come back soon! We spent New Year’s Eve there with our child and dog, and felt completely at ease. Our child was ill, but the panorama, sauna, and hot tub still let us properly relax. The ski lifts, restaurants, and several supermarkets were only five minutes away by car. We could help out in the barn, and our daughter got to feed the calves and pet the ponies. There was sledding behind the house, plus great short and long walks and hikes starting right from the door. The morning bread delivery was a treat too. We’d love to return in spring or summer and try the natural pool.

Our two boys, 7 and 10, had the best time at Hoferbichlgut. They loved the swimming pond, trampoline, animals, go-karts, and all the play areas, so it’s a great fit if you’ve got active kids. The adults can take in the wide mountain views and enjoy how peaceful it is, even at night. The place has been turned into a real haven with a lot of care. Eva, Hans, and Johann were wonderful hosts, and the setting is idyllic, looking out toward the Steinernes Meer range. We appreciated the bread delivery, barbecue hut, infrared cabin, and sauna too. Thanks for all the lovely memories. We’d wholeheartedly recommend Hoferbichlgut!

The Streitberger family made us feel very welcome, and we’re comfortable here. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped, with a breathtaking mountain view, in a stunningly peaceful setting. There’s a playground and barbecue area in the garden, plus a natural pond for swimming and sunbathing. You can buy homemade jams and sausages. Cows and horses live on the farm, and so far we’ve spotted two cats. We set off by car for our outings. The wildlife park, Zell am See, Sigmund Thun Gorge, and Krimml Waterfall are all fairly quick to reach.

A lovely place to feel at home as soon as you arrive. The apartment is so well equipped, and the family are very friendly. Great for families, with a beautiful setting and a handy base for trips by car or bike.
