Frau Laimer was a great host, serving a nice breakfast every morning. My friend and I stayed at Haus Wiesenheim for three nights during our ski holiday, and we’d happily come back. Our ground-floor room was spacious and had everything we needed, though it was quite basic and didn’t come with any soap. There’s a modern heated storage area in the basement for skis, boots and boards. A fantastic place for a ski trip.
The owner was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. Our room was spacious, with lots of storage, and the place was clean. It’s right on the slope and close to restaurants, which made it a great base for a ski holiday.

There’s no coffee or tea in the evening, and the room has nothing extra, not even a kettle. After checkout, we weren’t allowed back in to use the toilet or change clothes. The lack of hospitality was especially disappointing at almost €200 a night for bed, bath and bread. The guesthouse is right on the slopes, with ski-in and ski-out access when there’s enough snow. Everything was very clean, the room was simple, and breakfast was simple but fine. Just don’t expect more.
We stayed at Haus Wiesenheim from December 14-19, 2023, and would gladly return. Getting to town takes only a few minutes, and the slopes are very close. The ski storage room was fantastic. Our rooms were comfortable and very clean, the service was friendly, and breakfast was delicious. Best wishes from Aachen, Heike and Martin.
