Hotel Garni Viktoria

The hosts were kind and welcoming, always available for questions and recommendations, and their hospitality made a difference. Viktoria Garni Hotel has spacious, spotless rooms, equipped for a comfortable stay, with a cosy yet modern feel and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a standout, with a great range of fresh, tasty options including pastries, eggs, fruit and drinks. Free parking is a big plus if you’re travelling by car, and the ski bus stop is only a two-minute walk away. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly place in a convenient location.

The ski setup was especially handy: parking was free, and we could use a ski depot in St Anton, so there was no need to haul our skis and boots back each night. Breakfast was good too. My spouse and I spent a long weekend at Hotel Viktoria Garni, and the room furnishings were so impressive that the photos really didn’t prepare us for it. The place went beyond what we expected. I’d happily recommend a stay here.

There aren’t many restaurants close by, which was the one downside for us. Getting around by bus turned out to be simple, though, since the stop is nearby. The hotel itself feels cozy, with modern interiors and everything very clean. Breakfast had what we needed, the wellness area was nice, and the people were really friendly.

The owner was helpful, and the sauna was conveniently located. Our four-bedroom apartment was spacious, with separate bathrooms, and the breakfast was delicious. A few things could be better: the breakfast room gets crowded when the place is full, so more space would help, and adding vegetables like tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers would be appreciated. There’s no easy help for getting luggage upstairs, so anyone on the top floor has to carry it. The mattresses and pillows in our bedrooms were very soft, a heads-up for anyone with back problems. The bedrooms also have a sloped wall, and I bumped my head on it several times.
