Hotel Nassereinerhof

A lovely hotel with really great staff. The new spa is perfect, and the stay was excellent value for a ski trip. For a three-star place, it punches well above its weight.

We came with a group for a skiing holiday, and the staff took great care of us. They gave us an excellent welcome.

The only thing we missed was more of a bar scene. We could have drinks after skiing, and there's a full bar with music in the basement, but it wasn't an active bar. Otherwise, this was a great place for our 6-day ski holiday with two families. The Nassereine lift was only a short walk away, and we rented skis right by the lift, so we didn't have to carry them. The hotel also has a great ski room. Meals were excellent and suited a range of tastes. Rooms were very clean, the showers were perfect after skiing, and we used the saunas. Great location for skiing and a great family stay.

We paid 330 euros a night, yet the rooms had no refrigerator, shampoo, or conditioner. For a hotel presenting itself as luxurious, that was a major disappointment. The Wi-Fi was also abysmal throughout our stay. When we complained, the owner brushed it off as a busy week, showing little accountability or concern for customer satisfaction. More seriously, we encountered racism here, something we'd never experienced at another hotel. The owner's dismissive response, blaming the perpetrator's young age, was unacceptable and further soured our stay. These problems with racism, basic amenities, and service led us to cut our six-night stay short. I'd strongly advise others to think twice before booking.
