The cooking was a real treat after a day out skiing or hiking, especially with a glass of the chef’s own beer. Wulfenia is a gem in the lovely village of Gargellen, with great views, plenty of comfort, and outstanding hospitality. Our January stay was amazing. We were lucky that the snow started just before we arrived, though if heavy snow is forecast, bring snow chains. The hostess makes you feel at home and clearly cares about her guests, which helps explain why so many return year after year. Gargellen is beautiful in both winter and summer, with activities for all ages. Thanks for a pleasant stay, and thanks to all the girls who keep Wulfenia running. We can’t wait to come back!

Everyone working there, especially the owner, was so welcoming and helpful. The hotel was lovely, and we felt right at home during our stay. Hopefully we can come back next year.

The beer selection is a highlight, and Manfred Bachmann, the owner, is a certified beer sommelier who gives great recommendations with meals. We also enjoyed the very good food, lovely staff, and recently renovated rooms. Great hotel.
