Haus am Wiesenweg

The quiet valley setting is my favorite part. The guesthouse sits a little way back from the main road, so traffic is barely noticeable, yet the village center is just a five-minute walk away. I've stayed here every summer for the past two years. The rooms are very good and well equipped, with especially large balconies, some looking out over lovely valley views. Breakfast has always been plentiful and delicious. The owners work hard and are friendly and helpful.

Seeing the animals in the barn was such a heartwarming part of the visit. Our hosts showed us remarkable warmth and hospitality, and there was more than enough at breakfast. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every minute.

The mountain views are breathtaking, and there's a great family ski area close by. Silke and Helli's place in St. Jakob is a fantastic house with a farm and their own animals, so it's ideal for children. It's quiet but still centrally located, and breakfast is superb, with products from their own farm. We couldn't ask for anything better.

We keep coming back to this pleasant, family-run accommodation on the edge of St. Jakob, especially to see all the animals.
