A quiet, cozy place run by a family.

Top.

The private beach access was lovely, about 800 meters away, and it wasn't crowded, which I appreciated. There's a kiosk there with drinks, snacks, restrooms, and more. I spent two days holidaying alone in Carinthia and booked a room here. Breakfast had a wide selection, and the host was very friendly. My one concern is that solo travelers seem to be treated as if they're couples, as happens at many accommodations. I think this should be standardized across the board.

We were given such a warm welcome, and the garden was lovely and inviting. The short walk to the lake was especially nice :)

The beds and pillows were comfy, and breakfast was well taken care of, with delicious coffee. Martine and Stefan have also opened ‘Zanzibeach’ this year, a lovely ‘beach bar’ just a stone's throw from the lake. You can sunbathe, have drinks, eat, swim, paddleboard, and more. It made the whole stay feel even more like a holiday! The host and hostess are sweet, thoughtful, helpful, and so much fun. Had a super nice stay here, and I'd recommend this place 100%! 😘
