Apartment Daheim Sankt Leonhard im Pitztal

There wasn’t much to do while we were there, since avalanche risk had closed most of the hikes. We did get a lovely upgrade to a two-bedroom apartment with a garden because it was low season. Check-in was hard, though, as nobody from management spoke English, and the apartment came with nothing included, not even toilet paper, so bring your own.

The location worked perfectly for us: the ski bus stop is 100 metres away, and both the Pitztaler Glacier and Rifflsee ski areas are just a three-minute drive. Our apartment was roomy, clean and cozy, with a kitchen equipped with pretty much every appliance. The hostess was lovely and helpful, especially for a family with kids. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend it.

The apartments are charming, with lovely pictures on the walls, and had everything we needed. There’s also a bread delivery service, and parking right by the house. It’s a great place to set off on hikes from.

We’d happily book this place again. The little apartment had what we needed for everyday life, and the balcony was a lovely spot with a beautiful view. Getting settled was easy, the people were friendly, and the location is excellent with plenty of parking.
